History
• Born in Kirkwall in 9:20
• A largely unremarkable life in Kirkwall, her father disappeared when she was three, so she doesn't really remember him at all. Three elder sisters (Nerys 9:13, Llora 9:14, Sunniva 9:18), and one younger half-sister (Eirwen, 9:30)
(Mother is a weaver, once a dancer; used to be brighter and more full of life until Delyth's father left. Nerys worked in The Blooming Rose as of 9:31. Llora as a dancer, sometimes ran backhanded deals in the streets with some of the gangs, favours in the tavern as a barmaid, that kind of thing. Sunniva frequented the Chantry and deeply believed in the Maker (wanted to be a sister, but she's an elf, so...). Delyth ran with some small time gangs on occasion due to her temper and her habit of getting into trouble but she would always lie and smile her way out of it. Eirwen was beginning to show small signs of magic but they were doing their best to hide it.)
• Stars going along with Llora for gang stuff in 9:30, just tagging along. mainly started out being the kid sister who was good for being a decoy/calling out when the guard was coming/etc
• 9:33, she first killed someone in a fight. or almost, anyway.... (it was a noble's son. she was so terrified she had she ran away without checking for a pulse but he was out a few weeks later. he wasn't a score though. just in the way, in one of the warehouses, and she'd panicked when he wouldn't keep quiet/leave.)
• 9:34, her mother and Llora die in the qunari occupation. Nerys loses an eye.
• Nerys works harder, hardly ever comes home.
• 9:37, the chantry explosion. Sunniva was in the chantry vicinity at the time and died; Nerys was struck down by maleficar in the streets. Eirwen was frightened, turned some fire to ice, templars got spooked, tried to kill her (Delyth intercepted). Landed on burning wood; Delyth has burns on her back because of this
• 9:38, Eirwen was always sickly but within a year she gets very, very sick, her magic is becoming more unpredictable since the incident, delyth decides they have no choice but to leave. they hop a boat and manage to stay undiscovered because plenty of people are leaving kirkwall out of exalted march fears...
• 9:39 Her sister died shortly after arriving in ferelden. delyth just about gave up - it was winter, and it was cold, and she could just go to sleep. this is when atisha (another of harding's scouts) finds her and patches her up. that selflessness struck something in delyth; no one outside of her family had ever done something like that before, putting themselves at risk. suspicious of her motives, naturally, but there were none. just to help. (even though atisha had been through horrors, but there u go)
• Delyth's descent into madness complete. She hates both mage and templar factions. She hates qunari. She hates those who hurt her and used her. She feels particularly protective of Atisha because she too lost everyone and she feels this need to protect her because she reminds her a little of Eirwen, but it's deeper than that. She really truly loves her
• 9:39-41, stays with atisha on the road and in and around highever for the next few years, takes up mercenary work, never stays in one group for two long, eavesdrops, spies, makes threats, sometimes lends herself out as hitman for hire, stuff like that. they're in southern ferelden when the explosion hits, and atisha, being ever sensitive and helpful, wants to go and help out, so delyth goes along as her bodyguard and to make sure she doesn't do anything, y'know, stupid
• they join the scouts, get assigned under harding

Strengths & Weaknesses
Basically, what are they best at, and what are they worst at? Where can they help and where will they be a liability? It is not necessary to pick a class or to provide lists of specific Dragon Age skills or skill trees. It's sufficient to give us a general idea of areas and level of ability but please make sure you cover any magical ability or significant skill/resource/connection you hope to rely on in-game.

What brings your character to the Inquisition? This can be as brief as "he's got a sliver of weird magic in his hand he'd like the Inquisition to deal with," and shouldn't be more than 200 words.

Please provide 2 samples. It doesn't matter if they're written or linked and we don't care if you prefer brackets or normal punctuation, but at least one must take place in the game world, and at least one must be a log rather than network tags (or their setting-appropriate equivalent). They can be of any length, as long as they provide a sense of your character's voice and internal narrative. If we feel they aren't sufficient, we'll ask you for more.
